Thanks, Sue. I love knowing you have saved a bottle for a special occasion! We have now basically cut ourselves off consuming the bubbly to honor our commitment to the enthusiastic distributor and all his stellar accounts. But after all these years of both tending and drinking this effervescent wine, it seems strange to know it will soon be all gone. And speaking of special things in our lives, I was just thinking the same thing about our long overdue visit. Where does all the time go? Yes, we must make a date!

Bravo Don and Kay!!! FINALLY the recognition you deserve. I hope this article spurs something more if you desire it. And to think I drank this... Jane

Thanks, Jane! I think Don's felt honored throughout the whole process of making this venerable vintage bubbly by responses from experts in the field, especially when Michael Broadbent likened it to an old Bollinger RD. But both this article and the new distributor's enthusiastic interest in selling all we have left serendipitously showed up at the same time like an unexpected gift that has delighted us both. It's all such an amazing journey, with surprises of all kinds waiting around every corner. I so hope you're doing well and that this new year keeps opening up all the gifts you both are and create to share with the world. Cheers all around!
